Description

Odoo’s User Login Security module provides a comprehensive suite of tools to manage user access, enforce security policies, and monitor system activity. It enables administrators to:
  • Control user access through customizable user login permissions validity periods.
  • Enhance security with IP-based tracking, and login disable features.
  • Monitor user activity via detailed logs of login activity, session durations, and system interactions.
  • Automate alerts for expired credentials or User disabled accounts, ensuring compliance with organizational security protocols.

1. Going to setting menu, "User & Companies" then select 'Users.'.

2. Now you can choose a user.

3. Click on ‘Login Security.’

4. Then checks on “User Permission Validity.” Setup start and end date.

5. You can log in within this time period. You will not be able to log in before or after the specified time.

6. If the user tries to log in, this message will be shown automatically. You can customize this message.

7. If the admin checks the "Disable Login" option, the user will no longer be able to log in.

8. At that time, when the user tries to log in, this message will be shown. You can customize this message.

9. Checks “Enable Login Activity” then click “Users and Companies” and go to “logging activity.”

10. logging activity with details like user name, IP address, login/logout times, and system use time. This indicates comprehensive logging and monitoring features to track user activities.
