By default, Odoo does not allow fixed price or rule-based shipping cost calculation for third-party delivery providers in the same flexible way as standard delivery methods. This module solves that limitation by allowing users to configure custom shipping prices for third-party carriers based on fixed pricing or defined shipping rules. This module is useful when a shipping provider does not return live shipping rates through API, or when a business wants to charge its own custom shipping cost instead of using the carrier’s real-time rate. Users can configure shipping charges based on their business requirements and apply them directly on sale orders and delivery orders. With fixed price configuration, businesses can define a standard shipping charge for a specific third-party carrier. With rule-based pricing, users can calculate shipping costs based on different conditions such as order amount, product weight, delivery country, state, ZIP code, or other available criteria. This gives businesses better control over how shipping charges are applied to customers. does this app configure the orders to be packaged based on weight? For example, if my customers order products that weight 90 pounds, can a rule be written to package them by 49 pounds and then the rest in the next box?
