Overview
Stock Movement Report
The "Stock Movement Report" module helps users track the movement of products in
and out of the warehouse over a selected period. Built for Odoo,
it provides flexible filters for "Date Range", "Product", "Product Category", "Warehouses",
and "Companies", allowing users to generate accurate and meaningful reports instantly.
The report can be exported to "Excel Format", making it easy to review stock activity,
share with teams, or keep records for auditing and analysis. The module is intuitive,
user-friendly, and suitable for both operational users and management teams.

Features
To generate a Stock Movement Report :
1. Go to Inventory --> Reporting --> Stock Movement Report.
2. Apply the required filters :
Report to Date - Include all movements up to the selected date.
Inventory Movements Until Date - Select the cutoff date for movement calculation.
Or
Start Date / End Date - Set the date range for the report.
Products / Product Categories - Choose specific items or categories.
Warehouses / Companies - Select the related warehouse or company.
3. Click “Download Report” to export the Excel file.
4. If no matching records are found, the system will show:
“No records were found for the given criteria”.
Excel Output Details
The exported Excel file contains well-structured columns that show complete in/out movement details for each product. Below is the list of all included columns:

| Product Name | The exact product name. |
| Category | Product category. |
| Opening Stock | Stock level at the start of the selected period. |
| Sales | Total quantity sold. |
| Sales Return | Quantity returned by customers. |
| Purchase | Quantity purchased from vendors. |
| Purchase Return | Quantity returned to vendors. |
| Internal IN | Stock received internally from another location. |
| Internal OUT | Stock moved internally to another location. |
| Adjustment IN | Manual stock adjustment increase. |
| Adjustment OUT | Manual stock adjustment decrease. |
| Production IN | Finished goods received from manufacturing. |
| Production OUT | Finished goods dispatched to customers. |
| Transit IN | Stock transferred into the warehouse from another warehouse through the use of Transit Location. |
| Transit OUT | Stock transferred out of the warehouse to another warehouse through the use of Transit Location. |
| Closing | Final stock after applying all movements. |
