Escalation Workflow for Project Tasks

Task Escalations module allows organizations to manage task-related and managerial escalations within Odoo's Project application. It introduces a structured framework accessible via a new "Escalation" menu, offering two primary options: Task-Related Escalation, which can be initiated by employees or managers to address specific task issues, and Managerial Escalation, reserved for managers to handle concerns affecting employees. Both escalation types feature detailed forms for capturing essential information, options to assign tasks or affected personnel, and functionalities to schedule meetings directly within the escalation interface. The module ensures that the HR department is promptly notified upon escalation creation, facilitating timely intervention. Unresolved issues can be further escalated to higher authorities, with automated notifications and status updates to track progression. Key features include integrated escalation tracking via smart buttons, calendar integration for scheduling, automated notifications to relevant parties, and a clear, structured flow from initiation to resolution, enhancing communication and efficiency in addressing organizational issues.

Calendar feature within the Escalation Module to schedule and manage meetings related to the escalation process.

Task Escalation Access Rights Configuration

Under Settings > Users & Companies > Users menu user need to enable Manager or User to access Managerial Escalation.

Manager :- Only Manager can create and modify managerial Escalation.

User :- User with User access rights can only read or see the managerial Escalations.

User can add Task Escalation access rights according to user.


Task Related Escalation

Under Project > Escalation > Task Related Escalation menu here user can see Task Related Escalations and user can click on new button to create new task related escalation.


Created Task Related Escalation

User can see new task related escalation is created.Here user need to add Task Employee Or User to their need and click on Move To Discussion button to move this task to Discussion stage.


User can see Task Related Escalation task moved to Discussion stage.


Task Assign Message To Employee or User

User can see task assigned message to task Employee or User in Discuss. User can also see Task on clicking on Escalation Task.



New Task Escalation Mail To Respective Users


In the Discussion stage user can add Further Escalation user and click on the Move To Escalated button move this task to Escalated stage.


User can see escalation task moved to Escalated stage. User can click on Move To Solved stage to move this task to Solved stage.


A mail will also send to Employee or User and Further Escalation User when escalation task move to Escalated Stage.


User can see escalation task moved to Solved stage and a mail will also send to Employee and Further Escalation users. User can click on Move To Closed button to move this task to Closed stage.



User can see escalation task moved to Closed stage and mail will also sended to Employee and Further Escalation users.



Create Meeting From Escalations Task.

User can create meeting from escalation task on clicking on Create Meeting button.

User can see meeting was created and can view meeting details on click on Meetings smart button.

User can create escalation from respective task form view.


Managerial Escalation

Under Project > Escalation > Managerial Escalation menu user can see Managerial Escalations and only User with Manager access can create Managerial Escalation on clicking on New button.


Created Managerial Escalation

User can see created managerial escalation and also escalation assigned message and mail will send to the Employee or User. User can click on Move To Discussion button to move this task to Discussion stage.




User can see escalation moved to Discussion stage.Also User can add Further Escalation in Discussion stage and click on Move To Escalated button to move to Escalated stage.


Further Escalation Mail To Manager


User can see escalation move to Escalated stage on clicking on Move To Escalated button and User can click on Move To Solved button to move escalation to solved stage.


User can see escalation moved to Solved stage and mail will also send to respective users. User can click on Move To Closed button to move escalation to Closed stage.



User can see escalation moved to Closed stage and mail will also send to respective users.



Create Meeting From Managerial Escalation

User can create meeting from managerial escalation on clicking on Create Meeting button.


Created Meeting From Escalation

User can see meeting was created and can click on that meeting smart button to view meeting details.


Meeting Form View

User can see detailed view of created meeting.


Meeting Invitation Message to User.

Can I Use this module with Odoo Online ?

This Odoo app can not be used with Odoo Online (SaaS).

How can I install the module I bought ?

You need to copy paste the module that is inside the zip file to your addons folder. If you are installing the module into an existing database, you need to enable the Technical Features to click on Apps > Update Modules List. Your new module will now appear in the list of modules that you can install.
