Stop hunting through dropdowns for records
A visual query builder, reusable saved filters and a full search toolkit that works on any Odoo model — no technical knowledge required.
Odoo's native search hides filters behind a nested dropdown. Building a multi-condition query means clicking into a panel, picking a field, choosing a condition and waiting for the list to reload — every single time, with no memory of what you searched for last.
A visual condition-row query builder with a computed match count, saved and shared filter presets that work on any model, per-user list layouts, a search-history log and barcode lookup rules — all managed from a single, consistent screen.
Everything you need to find records fast
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
Visual query builder
Stack condition rows on any field with equals, contains, between, in, is-set and more operators, then choose Match ALL (AND) or Match ANY (OR) logic — the module assembles the Odoo domain for you.
Live matching-record count
Every saved filter shows a computed count of matching records right on the form, so you know how many records a query returns before you run it.
Personal, shared & template filters
Save a filter for yourself, share it with your team, or publish it as a reusable template — every preset works on any model, so the same experience carries across Sales, Inventory, CRM and more.
Role-restricted & favorite filters
Restrict a shared filter to specific roles, mark your most-used filters as favorites, and duplicate any shared or template filter as your own personal copy in one click.
Usage tracking & cleanup
Every filter tracks how many times it has been used and when it was last run, and a single action archives every personal filter that has never been used — no more forgotten clutter.
Per-user saved list layouts
Save list, kanban or spreadsheet-style layouts per model with inline column show/hide, ordering and width, a purpose hint for when to use each layout, and one default layout per user.
Search history & audit trail
Every search is logged with its source, domain, result count and duration. Managers get the same log grouped by user as an audit trail of who searched for what.
Barcode & QR lookup rules
Configure lookup rules per model and field with EAN-13, UPC-A, QR and CODE-128 auto-detection, an optional prefix filter and haptic feedback for fast, checkout-ready product lookup.
Configurable feature toggles
A dedicated Settings block lets administrators turn live search, live match count, the persistent search bar, barcode lookup and the audit trail on or off, and set result limits and history retention.
How it works
Pick a model
Create a new saved filter and choose which model it applies to — any model installed in your database.
Build the query
Add condition rows with a field, operator and value, set Match ALL or ANY logic, and watch the matching-record count update.
Save & share
Keep the filter personal, share it with your team, restrict it to a role, or publish it as a reusable template.
Apply & track
Run the filter to jump straight to matching records, while usage and a full search history are logged automatically.
See it in action
From the query builder to barcode rules — the full toolkit, screen by screen.
Your personal saved filters at a glance, with match count and usage columns so you always know what each filter returns and how often it is used.
The visual query builder: stack condition rows with any operator, choose Match ALL or ANY logic, and see the resulting Odoo domain computed live.
Reusable filter templates displayed as color-coded kanban cards with match badges, ready to duplicate into a personal filter in one click.
A saved list layout with inline column configuration — choose which columns show, their order and width, per model and per user.
Every search is logged automatically, with its source, result count and duration, so repeated searches are one click away.
The same search log, grouped by user, gives managers a ready-made audit trail of who searched for what.
Barcode lookup rules configured per model and field, with format auto-detection and an optional prefix filter for fast product lookup.

Frequently asked
Does this work on any Odoo model, or only specific apps?
Every saved filter, layout and history entry is tied to a chosen model, so the module works on any model installed in your database — Sales, Inventory, CRM, Accounting, HR or a custom model.
Do I need technical knowledge to build a query?
No. The visual query builder lets you pick a field, an operator and a value from dropdowns for each condition row — no domain syntax or code required.
Can I control who sees a shared or team filter?
Yes. Shared and template filters can be restricted to specific security groups, so only the roles you choose can see or apply them.
Does the barcode lookup work with any barcode format?
Barcode rules support EAN-13, UPC-A, QR and CODE-128, plus an auto-detect mode that picks the right format for you, with optional haptic feedback on scan.
