Sales Package Enforce

Enforce use of packages in Sales when available

In some cases, units are kept in inventory in one unit of measeure but must be sold in packages or multples of that unit of measure.

Screenshots

Packages are used by default if configured

Adding a product that has packages set will automatically set the default package in the sales order line.
The user can still edit the quantity or select a different package if needed. If a different package is selected, the quantity will be automatically adjusted to the new package.

Prompt to select a package if quantity does not match any available package

If the sales order line has a product with packages set, and the quantity does not match any availiable package, the user will be reminded to select a package or set a quantity that matched an approved package.
