Helpdesk Auto Assignment

Helpdesk Auto Assignment Odoo app helps support teams save time by automatically assigning
incoming tickets to the right team and team members. Instead of manually checking and
distributing tickets, the system applies rules based on filter conditions like stage, team,
source, or country. This keeps ticket handling fast, fair, and organized.
When a new ticket comes in, the system checks the filter rules and assigns it to the correct
support team. The ticket is then distributed to team members according to the configured rules.
Each assigned member receives an email notification with full details, including the customer’s
name, email, assigned team, and the time the ticket was received.
This ensures that tickets are never missed, teams can respond quickly, and workload is shared
evenly. It’s a reliable way to improve efficiency while giving customers faster support.

Filters are set on the support team to auto-assign tickets based on conditions (e.g., "Stage = New", "Team = A"). Each team member can also have personal filter conditions, displayed below their name.

After clicking the button on the helpdesk team screen, it redirects here and shows the filtered ticket records.

When the "Run Cron", the system checks all tickets against the filter rules (e.g., "Stage = New", "Team = A").
If a helpdesk ticket matches the filter, it is assigned to Support Team A, led by Henry, and then distributed to team members (like Julian, Mr. Jean or Mr. Luca) based on the configured rules. A notification (such as an email) can be sent with ticket details.

You can see the updated tickets' Team Leader and Team here.

You can see that an email is sent to the team member (Henry), showing the list of Tickets assigned to them along with details like ticket name, email, team, and customer.
