Inventory XYZ Analysis Report
The Inventory XYZ Analysis Report in Odoo is a complete inventory classification tool
that combines three methods: ABC (Value), XYZ (Demand Pattern), and FSN
(Movement Speed).
This report helps businesses analyze demand changes using the Coefficient of Variation
and
classify products as X (Stable Demand), Y (Moderate Demand Changes), or Z
(Irregular Demand). These results can be combined with ABC and FSN classifications to
easily identify important product groups, such as high-value products with irregular demand.
The tool supports useful filters like negative stock and zero stock, allows users to set custom
limits for all classifications, and provides clear analysis through List View, Pivot
View,
and Graph View. It also includes detailed PDF and Excel reports, with
access to raw
data for deeper analysis.

Menu Location
Easily find the XYZ analysis tool in Odoo under the Inventory > Reporting menu options.
General Configuration
Define the scope of your report by selecting Date Range, Company, Products, Categories, Warehouses, and Locations. If left blank, it automatically includes all.
Classification Settings
Customize your analysis: Toggle ABC, XYZ, and FSN methods. Apply specific filters to isolate classes (e.g., only "A" or "Z" items) and configure precise threshold percentages for each classification logic.
Advanced Options
Refine data inclusion: Filter for Minimum Stock Balance, Negative Stocks, or Zero Balance items. Configure Sorting and Grouping preferences, and choose to include Raw Movement data in Excel exports.

View detailed analysis results directly on the screen in a list format, displaying item-specific metrics and classifications.
