Mass Project Task Stages
The Mass Project Task Stages module helps to efficiently manage project task stages using predefined templates. When a user selects a stage template in a project, all the stages from that template are automatically loaded into the project. If the user updates the stage later, a popup will appear asking whether to add the new stages to the existing ones or replace the current stages with the template stages. Based on the user's selection, the system will either add the new stages or fully replace the existing stages. Additionally,When you create tasks under that project, you will only see the stages linked to that specific project, keeping your task management clean, organized, and relevant.

Automatic Stage Loading:
- When selecting a stage template in the project, all related stages from the template are automatically applied to the project.

- When changing the stages in an existing project, a popup appears with two options: Add: Add new stages from the existing project stages. Replace: Replace all existing stages with the new stages.

Project-Specific Stages:
- Each project has its own set of stages. So, when you create or manage tasks, only the stages assigned to that specific project will show up. This avoids confusion and keeps each project organized.

- You can design several reusable stage templates and use them for numerous projects. This is time-saving, consistent and prevents errors that may be made manually for various projects.

- The application assists you step by step with pop-ups and understandable options so that it is easy even for non-technical users to handle project stages without getting confused.
When selecting a stage template in the project, all related stages from the template are loaded.
Project in Odoo, where a Stage Template named Template 1 is selected. The related Project Stages, like In Progress and Done, are added to the project from the template, helping manage tasks in a clear and organized way.
Stages from the template are automatically applied to the project.
When you assign a Stage Template to a project like "Office Design," its stages, such as In Progress and Done, are added to the project. These stages help organize and track tasks easily within that project.
When changing the stages in an existing project, Click on 'Update project stages' menu.
pop-up appears with two options: 1. Add new stages from the existing project stages. 2. Replace: Replace all existing stages with the new stages.
When you update the project's stages and select the "Add" option in the popup, then choose the stages you want to add, then click on the 'Update' button.
The new stages will be added to the project's existing stages.
New stages like Inbox have been successfully added to the existing project stages, In Progress and Done. It confirms that the system kept the old stages and added the new ones, as selected during the update.

This image shows the updated task stages for the Office Design project. A new stage called Inbox has been added along with the existing stages In Progress and Done. The system added the new stage without removing the old ones.
When I select the "Replace" option in the popup, all the existing stages will be removed, and only the newly added stages will be visible.
Update Project Stages pop-up. If you select "Replace", the system will remove all current stages from the project and keep only the newly selected stage, like Today. Press Update to apply the changes.
The existing stages have been removed successfully, and the new stages have been added.
The replaced stages have been updated. You can view them in the project.
Project stages have been updated. The old stages were removed, and only the new stage, "Today", is now visible, as selected using the Replace option in the popup.
The stage template has been configured from here.
Where you can set up Project Stage Templates in Odoo, go to Configuration → Stage Templates, and create templates like Template 1 or Template 2 with predefined stages (e.g., In Progress, Done). These templates can later be used in projects to save time.
