Overview
This app is an essential utility designed to keep your Odoo Documents workspace clean, organized, and free of redundant files.
By default, Odoo allows users to upload multiple files with the exact same name into the same folder, causing confusion and wasting database storage. This module introduces a pre-check system that intercepts file uploads, detects identical filenames in the target folder, and gracefully blocks them.

How It Works
1. Enable Restriction Setting
Global Configuration
Easily activate the protection across your entire database by enabling the Restrict Duplicate Name option in the Documents Configuration Settings.
2. Duplicating Existing Files
Duplication Handling
If a folder (e.g., Customer Invoices) already contains a file and its copy, such as Q1_Invoice_Tracker.xlsx and Q1_Invoice_Tracker (copy).xlsx, attempting to duplicate the original file again via the Action > Duplicate menu will trigger a restriction.
3. Upload Block

The system monitors file uploads. If a user tries to upload a file with a name that already exists in the target workspace via New > Upload button, the process is blocked to prevent redundancy and duplicate warning is shown.
