The module extends the Odoo Website model to include fields for Instagram App ID, App Secret, Access Token, and Business ID, enabling secure authentication via an OAuth flow that generates access tokens. The frontend, built as an Odoo public widget, dynamically fetches and renders Instagram posts based on user-defined settings such as layout (grid or slider), number of columns, media type (image, video, or carousel), and sorting preferences. It supports interactive features like pop-up modals for post details, including captions, likes, comments, and tagged products, with smooth navigation for carousel albums. The module also provides an editor preview mode with placeholders for easy configuration in Odoo's website builder, supports scrollable grids, and ensures responsive design with Bootstrap integration. In Odoo Website, open Configuration from the top menu, then choose Websites to manage website settings and configurations.
Meta App Dashboard (App Settings)
In Meta App Dashboard, open Basic settings under App Settings, then copy the provided App ID and App Secret.
Instagram App Configuration (Odoo)
In Odoo, paste the copied App ID and App Secret into respective fields, then click Generate Access Token to create your Instagram Access Token for integration.
Reconnect Facebook App
This Odoo interface guides users to integrate Instagram by entering the App ID and Secret, then generating an access token to enable Instagram features within the website’s configuration settings.
Edit Preview
