Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager allows eCommerce businesses to accurately track how customers
interact with their online store. By implementing essential eCommerce tags such as View Item,
Add to
Cart, View Cart, Add to Wishlist, View Wishlist, Begin Checkout, and Purchase , this module
sends cleaner,
real-time
data from Odoo to Google Tag Manager without any technical effort on the user’s part. Each tag captures
key user actions across the buying journey—starting from product browsing to final order
placement—helping store owners understand customer behavior with precision.
These GTM events empower marketers and analysts to measure conversions more effectively, optimize
product performance, and implement advanced remarketing strategies such as targeting users who viewed a
product but did not purchase. With seamless automation, this integration enables businesses to improve
ROI through data-driven decisions, reduce advertising costs, and enhance overall customer experience on
Odoo-based eCommerce stores.
