What is Sales Prospecting Map?
Sales Prospecting Map is a native Odoo 18 application built using the modern OWL framework. It integrates directly with the new Google Places API and Maps JavaScript API to provide a seamless, full-screen map interface inside Odoo's CRM.
Whether you are selling B2B software to local accounting firms, restaurant supplies to downtown cafes, or commercial real estate services across a massive state territory, this tool equips your outbound sales reps with a continuous flow of highly-targeted, scored, and validated leads.
How It Works

Enter your Google Maps API key in Odoo Settings to enable the mapping, geocoding, and places integrations securely.
Open the app, enter a business type (e.g., "Dental Clinic") and a location (e.g., "Austin, TX") to instantly visualize local prospects.
Use the color-coded markers and 0-100% Probability Scores to filter out bad fits and focus entirely on high-quality businesses.
Select your best prospects and click bulk add to immediately push them into your sales team's pipeline with full data attached.

Securely enter your Google Maps API Key and define a maximum results limit per search to optimize API usage and control costs.
Use the sidebar to filter prospects by Keyword, Business Type, Location, Radius, Rating, and Review counts to find the perfect targets.
Clicking any map pin reveals an info window with the business's phone, website, operating hours, and a direct "+Create Lead" action.
The Results tab allows you to review all plotted businesses, select multiple high-quality prospects, and process them in bulk.
Before creating leads, use inline dropdowns to instantly assign them to specific Sales Teams, Salespersons, and initial Pipeline Stages.
Newly generated prospects drop seamlessly into your standard Odoo CRM Pipeline, ready to be worked by your sales team.
Lead records are created with dynamic Probability scoring (e.g., 100%) and populated internal notes displaying exactly what data was imported from Google.
Physical address parsing, Team ownership, and primary Salesperson details are cleanly injected into the standard CRM forms.
If you prefer to review leads before importing them into your CRM, you can easily download the entire search result list as a CSV file.
The exported spreadsheet includes clean, columnar data for Names, Addresses, Phones, Ratings, Operating Status, Coordinates, and Hours.
The History tab displays an audit log of past searches, making it easy to see which keywords and locations your team has already targeted.
