Features

Create Task Button:

Generates separate tasks for each product in the purchase order, allowing for detailed tracking and management of individual items.

Create All in One Task:

Enables the creation of a single task that encompasses multiple products, simplifying the management of related items under one task.

Automatic Project Name Assignment:

Automatically assigns the Purchase Order Number as the project name if no vendor reference is provided, ensuring consistent naming conventions.

Task Navigation Smart Button:

Provides quick access to the task list view directly from the purchase order, enhancing usability and efficiency in task management.

Project Grouping:

Groups projects by active purchase orders, allowing users to organize easily and prioritise their work based on ongoing orders.

1) Vendor Selection and Project Name Entry:

The user selects the vendor and enters the project name in the Vendor Reference field. If the Vendor Reference field is not provided, the purchase order number (e.g., P00010) will be used as the project name.

2) Create Task Button Usage:


After clicking on the "Create Task" button, a project and tasks are generated for each line in the purchase order. The task button widget allows quick navigation to the tasks.

3) Products Added to Tasks:

Products listed in the purchase order are now added to tasks for better tracking and management.

4) Project List with Grouping by Active Purchase Order:

The default view of the project list groups projects by active purchase orders, making it easier to manage ongoing tasks.

5) Vendor Reference and Project Assignment:

The Vendor Reference is used as the project name, while the purchase order vendor is set as the project customer. The purchase order name is also assigned to the project.

6) Task Smart Button:

The "Task" smart button on the purchase order screen shows a list view of all tasks related to the order for easy access.

7) Create All in One Task Button:

After selecting the vendor and assigning a task name in the Vendor Reference field, users can click "Create All In One Task" to generate a single task that includes all items from the purchase order.
