Does this replace Odoo's Rental app?
It's a standalone vertical module - it doesn't depend on the native Rental app, so there's nothing to conflict with.
Which Odoo versions are supported?
Built for Odoo 18 (Community & Enterprise). Ports to 17 and 19 are straightforward.
Can I charge different rates for the same item?
Yes - each asset carries hourly, daily, weekly and monthly rates, and you pick the rate type per rental line.
What happens to a deposit when there's damage?
Log the damage with a repair cost; if "charge to customer" is on, the cost is deducted from the deposit and the remaining balance is shown as the refund due.
