Ethio Electronic Invoice â POS
IRN registration & signed QR from Point of Sale
Add-on for Point of Sale. Requires Ethio Electronic Invoice (Accounting). Register invoiced POS orders with MOR â automatic or manual â and print IRN with signed QR on thermal receipts.
01 Automatic MOR registration
Enable Invoice on the payment screen, then click Validate â the linked accounting invoice is registered with MOR automatically.
How it works
- Complete payment (Cash, Card, etc.)
- Check Invoice on the payment screen
- Click Validate
- IRN & signed QR sync to the POS order
02 Manual / bulk registration (Ticket Screen)
Prefer to control timing? Use the Ticket Screen to post later or in bulk.
Steps
- Open Orders (Ticket Screen)
- Filter Show Paid Only if needed
- Select invoiced orders (checkbox)
- Click Post Selected to MOR
When to use manual
- Offline periods â catch up after reconnect
- Review orders before submitting to MOR
- Bulk post many paid invoices at end of day
03 Thermal receipt â signed QR & IRN
Print-ready POS receipt includes MOR compliance data
After registration, every thermal receipt printed from POS carries the official Invoice Reference Number (IRN) and the MOR signed QR code returned by the Ministry of Revenue.
Customers can scan the QR to verify the invoice. IRN and signed QR are synced to the POS order and printed on your thermal receipt layout.
