Why Choose This Module
Features Retention schedules per country and document category seeded with the real statutory periods: FR (Code de commerce, LPF, Code du travail), BE (Code de droit économique, TVA), NL (Belastingdienst bewaarplicht / AWR art. 52). Retention records compute the destruction-eligible date from the document's reference date and the matching schedule, and move through active → expired → on-hold → destroyed. Legal hold (mise sous scellés / litigation hold) blocks destruction regardless of the retention end-date, with a documented reason and release control. Purge campaigns gather all destruction-eligible records, let the user review and confirm, then write an immutable purge log line (who/when/what). GDPR minimisation aid: flags personal-data documents kept past their useful period and proposes destruction once the legal minimum has elapsed.
