XML Export

The standard Odoo system only allows to export data in .csv & .xls files. This plugin helps user to export data in XML.

With selection of right configuration options, the database table/object in XML format can be set, supporting the relation fields like Many2one, Many2many & One2many.

Configure XML Structure

Go to Settings >> Export Records >> Export Definition

Name: Define Name, for e.g. Contact, Invoice, Sale Order, etc.

Root: Name of Root element.

Definition Lines: Fields & Structure of XML.

Action: Specifies action on model field value and its XML tag.

  1. Field Value (Tag that will have value of field).
  2. Empty (Empty Tag).
  3. Repeat Per Value (Repeat tag for field values - use for relation fields).

Model Field: Need to select model field.

XML Field: XML tag name and its position.

Generate XML

Go to Settings >> Export Records >> Export Data

Export Model: Need to select model for export data.

Definition: Configured XML definition for selected model.

Click on "Export" button to generate XMl file.

The module will work with Odoo.sh, On-Premises and Community hosted on third party server.

But if you are using Odoo Online, it doesn't allow to install any third party application. So if you are on Odoo online, then you will need to migrate to Odoo.sh or On-Premises server.

The module can be installed on Odoo.sh instance and if you are using On-Premises then it will be installed in Odoo.

We'll provide you a demo link of our server with the module installed. If you have any third party modules installed in your production environment, then you will need to provide is your custom or third-party modules. We'll install them in our demo instance and provide you the demo link.

Any Odoo module developed or customized is tested with Odoo vanilla system. Bug free support is only provided if any error appears in the Odoo vanilla system. If any trace-back error appears due to your custom modules then it will be considered under paid support to fix the errors.

Yes the XML Export module can export from any Odoo module, but the field types should be Char, Text, Integer, Float, Many2one, One2many, Many2many.

Yes, It supports custom fields but they should be stored in the database.

No, there are no dependency modules required. You need basic Odoo system not hosted on Online but on Odoo.sh or On-Premises.

Before purchasing the module from Odoo app store, please make sure you select the right Odoo version for purchasing. For e.g. If you using Odoo v17, then you need to select v17 and then purchase the module.

The module price will be same as mentioned on Odoo app store.
