ODOO'S FUNCTION
Odoo Helpdesk and MRP are separate modules .
Support agents cannot view manufacturing data (BoM, MO, lot info) directly from a helpdesk ticket.
Manual effort is required to trace the product origin.

find
Return checkbox
and
tick
it.

USAGE |
|
|
Scenario : You have an SO that contains a manufactured product and its delivery to the customer has been validated, then the customer wants to return the product to your company because of some issues. |
|
|
1. Go to Helpdesk > Create a new ticket > Fill the customer name > Select the product & Lot/SN number that needs to be returned > It will autofill the manufacturing info below. Notes: you can select the Product Selector Type as Manufacture or Bill of Materials (BoM)
|
|
|
2. Click the Return button > A pop-up window will appear > Input the related delivery transfer and the return quantity needed > Click Return > A new transfer will be created. |
|
|
3. Go to Sales > Open the related SO > Click the Delivery smart button > You will find the return you created from Helpdesk has been attached to the SO. |
|
|
In case the customer raises a helpdesk ticket, the support team needs to review the related Manufacturing Order (MO) to identify the required replacement components and generate a quotation.
Open the ticket > Fill the Manufacturing Order and Product Selector Type > The MO Overview button appears |

Click MO Overview button > Fill the Replaced Qty and then Sales Order can be created. |
