ODOO'S FUNCTION

When the Downpayment Product in the Invoice Lines tab is clicked, Odoo reveals the product form for the down payment. By default, the Product Type of down payment products generated for invoices are set as Service , with the Invoicing Policy set to Prepaid/Fixed Price .

CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION

CLuedoo extends this feature to let customer choose Lists of Downpayment's Product from Invoice's wizard when clicked create Invoice.

CONFIGURATION


1. Create a Downpayment Product .

  • Product type : Service
  • Service Invoicing Policy : Prepaid/Fixed Price

2. Go to Settings > check Sale Downpayment Product box.

3. To bring up the Downpayment Product in Settings , users have to configure the addition of POS in Odoo. Choose the Downpayment Product here.

USAGE


1. Go to Sales > Create a New SO or use an existing one > Choose product created above > Confirm .

2. Click "Create Invoice" smart button to create a draft invoice.

3. A pop-up screen appears and > Fill required field : Create Invoice > Product > Downpayment amount. Those fields may change due to previous selections.
4. An Invoice with Down payment product is created with fixed amount equals to $50.00 > Go to "Sale Orders" smart button to go back to SO.

5. Go to Order Lines > Downpayment Product filled.
