ODOO'S FUNCTION

When the Downpayment Product in the Invoice Lines tab is clicked, Odoo reveals the product form for the down payment. By default, the Product Type of down payment products generated for invoices are set as Service , with the Invoicing Policy set to Prepaid/Fixed Price .

CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION

CLuedoo extends this feature to let customer choose Lists of Downpayment's Product from Invoice's wizard when clicked create Invoice.

CONFIGURATION


1. Go to Settings > check Sale Downpayment Product box.

2. Make sure that Downpayment Product exists before checking this box.

3. To bring up the Downpayment Product in Settings , users have to configure the addition of POS in Odoo. Choose the Downpayment Product here.

USAGE


1. Go to Sales > Create a new SO or use an existing SO > Click "Create Invoice" smart button.

2. A pop-up screen appears and the field Down Payment Product is auto-filled or you can choose others down payment product > Click "Create Draft Invoice" button.
3. An Invoice with Down payment (POS) product created with fixed amount equals to $50.00 > Click "Sale Orders" smart button to go back to SO.

4. Go to Order Lines > Downpayment Product filled.
