STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES

ODOO BEHAVIOR

Odoo allows project creation from sales orders but does not let you customize this process based on specific rules or quotation templates.




CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR

Cluedoo enhances this functionality by enabling custom project creation from sales orders with:

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE?

DEPENDENCIES

PROJECT TEMPLATE INCLUDING SCHEDULE ACTIVITY

On Product with type 'Service', we can set project template

Go to sales and create new quotations. Fill the Project Template in Other Info Tab in Sales Order. Once you do, click the "Project" button beside the "Task" Button.

Once you go to Project, you will see your project is created from the sale order


UPDATE FROM V18

1.  Product with Project template and task template

- Assign a task template and project template for service product

- Create new quotation > Add the product that we created before > Confirm

- New project and task created by SO will be synced with project template and task template
















2. Create project on button SO

- After fill all information in SO, we can create project via button Create project

- New project created by SO will be synced with project we created by Create project button




















3. Quotation template in SO

3.1. Create add quotation template > Add a product that has project template

- Create new quotation > Add the product that we created before > Confirm

-  New project created in SO will be follow the template of the product in quotation template



3.2. Create add quotation template > Add a product that has project template

- Create new quotation > Add the product that we created before > Confirm

- Go  Info tab > Project template > Add project template

- Create new quotation > Add the product that we created before > Confirm

-  New project created in SO will be follow the template of the project template in quotation template
