Fleet Wheelseye Integration
This module integrates Odoo Fleet Vehicles with Wheelseye GPS devices. It automatically fetches vehicle location data, stores history, and keeps the odometer updated in real-time.

Connect Odoo Fleet Vehicles with their respective Wheelseye GPS device IDs for real-time tracking.
Automated GPS Data Fetch (Every 15 Minutes)
A scheduled job runs every 15 minutes, fetching vehicle location data using fromTime and toTime parameters from the Wheelseye API.
Vehicle Location History with Duplicate Protection
Each location point is stored in Odoo with history tracking.
Built-in duplicate protection ensures no duplicate entries for the same timestamp.
Auto-Update Odometer
Vehicle odometer readings are updated automatically using the Haversine formula to calculate distances between GPS points.

Link Odoo Fleet Vehicles with Wheelseye GPS Devices
Each Fleet Vehicle in Odoo can be linked to its Wheelseye GPS Device ID.
This connection allows Odoo to directly fetch GPS data from Wheelseye and map it to the correct vehicle.
Smart Buttons for GPS Tracking
On the Fleet Vehicle form, new smart buttons are added.
GPS Locations → Displays all stored GPS points with timestamps.
Today’s Route → Shows the complete route taken by the vehicle for the current day.
Google Maps Integration
Admins can configure a Google Maps API key in Fleet settings.
Helps fleet managers monitor live routes and daily movements visually.
Fully Configurable Settings
Configure Wheelseye Base URL and Access Token from Odoo settings.
- Go to Fleet module configuration, for managing the Wheelseye GPS integration settings.
- In Fleet, from vehicles, add a Vehicle number as shown above.
- Above scheduled action, automatically syncs vehicle GPS locations from Wheelseye every 15 minutes, it updates Fleet vehicles, prevents manual syncing, and ensures real-time tracking.
- From Vehicles, one can see GPS locations history data and also one can view map by clicking on Today's route button.
- One can also manually Sync the data from the GPS location tab as shown above.
- Above shows GPS location history per Wheelsye Vehicle Number.
- Above Shows Today’s Route on Map View showing all the routes.
There are Validations and Constraints added in this module. For Eg: Entering a different model with the same vehicle number shows a validation error.
