How It Works

From install to first automated backup in under five minutes.

Install — Add the module from the Apps menu. Requires only the `paramiko` Python dependency for SFTP support.

Configure a backup — Go to Settings → Technical → Database Backup, create a record with host, port, database and the local backup folder.

Optional SFTP — Enable remote storage and fill the SFTP host, user, password and path. Click Test SFTP Connection to verify.

Schedule — Open Scheduled Actions → Backup Scheduler, activate it and pick how often you want backups.

Stay informed — Tick Auto. E-mail on backup fail and enter your address. Sleep well.
