LL Asset History

Complete lifecycle tracking of your assets

LL Asset History extends the LL Asset Management app by providing a detailed timeline of every transaction an asset goes through from issuance to return, and even replacements (when available).

The module is designed to be flexible and intelligent:

  • Works standalone with ll_asset_management.
  • Automatically detects if ll_asset_replacement is installed.
  • Remarks field adapts dynamically:
    • If replacement is installed:
      "Issuance auto-generated from Asset Replacement"
    • If not:
      "Regular Issuance transaction."
  • Ensures seamless history creation without manual configuration.

Purpose

Asset History gives you full visibility into the lifecycle of every company asset. It answers key audit questions such as:

  • Who issued or returned the asset?
  • When did the transaction happen?
  • What was the transaction type — Issuance, Return, or Replacement?
  • Where is the asset located now?

By maintaining a chronological log, managers and auditors can trace asset movements, verify accountability, and prevent misuse or loss.
