This app enables you to efficiently manage machine repair businesses, shops, or workshops. Customers can easily submit machine repair requests through your website, which are then recorded in the backend as machine repair requests. Additionally, the app allows you to perform machine diagnostics and generate job orders or work orders for seamless repair management.

The app offers a range of menus to streamline machine repair management. Under the Repair menu, users can access various functionalities such as Machine Repair Tickets, Machine Diagnostics, and Machine Work Orders. The Configuration menu allows administrators to set up essential settings like Service, Service Types, and Machine Repair Teams. Users can manage Machines and Machine Parts, ensuring a comprehensive repair and maintenance process. Additionally, the Reports menu provides access to essential reports related to machine repairs, diagnostics, and work orders, facilitating detailed analysis and tracking. All these menus work together to provide a seamless and efficient experience for managing machine repair tasks and services.

Features of the Machine Repair Management App:

Roles by Users: Role of Customer
    • Create and submit machine repair requests via the website.
    • View and track their submitted repair requests through the "My Account" portal on the website.
Role of Repair Manager
    • Assign repair requests to repair users/technicians.
    • Create machine diagnostics from repair requests.
    • Generate work orders/job orders from machine repair requests.
    • Print PDF reports for machine repair requests.
    • Close machine repair tickets upon completion of the repair.
    • Create sales quotations based on machine diagnostics.
    • Fill out timesheets for tracking repair progress.
Role of Repair User/Technician
    • Manage and work on machine repair requests assigned by the repair manager.
    • Create and manage work orders/job orders related to repair requests.
    • Perform machine diagnostics from the repair requests.
    • Communicate with customers through the system for updates and queries.
    • Fill out timesheets for the work performed on repair tasks.
Role of Sales User
    • Send quotations to customers via email and work on quotations to convert them into orders.
    • Create invoices from confirmed orders following the standard Odoo process.

Note that there are two predefined user groups in the system: Repair User/Technician and Repair Manager. These groups are created automatically by the system. To grant users access to the repair app, you will need to go to the user form and select the appropriate group for each user. Once the group is assigned, the repair app will appear in the list of available applications for that user.
