Combining Material Requisition with Job Cost Sheet

This application facilitates the connection between the job cost sheet and the material purchase requisition.


Main Features:

  • Enable your project manager to generate a Job Cost Sheet for Projects or Job Orders, and organize your Material, Labor, and Overheads through the Job Cost Sheet Menu.
  • Enable the creation of Material Requisitions and provide users with the ability to select or link the Job Cost Sheet and Job Cost Line within the Material Requisition Line.
  • Generate a Material Purchase Requisition for the Project or Job Order, allowing users to choose the Job Cost Center and Job Cost line directly on the Material Requisition form.
  • Selecting the Job Cost Line on the Material Requisition line will trigger an automatic update of the Actual/Real Requisition Quantity.
  • Access the Material Requisition through the Requisitions button located on the Job Cost Sheet form.
  • This application provides a comprehensive overview of your planned materials, labor, and overheads, as well as the actual requests made in the Material Requisition against the planned quantities. Essentially, it enables you to monitor the actual material requisition quantities submitted by your users on the job cost sheet.

Highlighted Flow:

  • Develop job cost sheets and establish planned quantities for materials, labor, and overhead associated with the project or job order.
  • Overview of Projected and Actual Quantities by Job Cost Sheet Components (Materials, Labor, and Overheads).
  • Enable your user to make selections on the Material Requisition using the Job Cost Center (job cost sheet) and the Job Cost Line (cost sheet line).
  • The Job Cost Sheet will display the actual quantity of requisitions requested by the user.

Job Cost Sheet for Project/Contract/Job Displaying Actual Requisition Quantity

The Job Cost Line has been chosen on the Purchase Requisition line, allowing for the automatic update of the Actual Requisition Quantity for that specific Job Cost Line.
