Set 'Is Warranty?' field as True and also set configuration on 'Warranty informations' tab.
Warrenty product is visible inside Warranty > Product menu.
When you create sale order using 'warrenty' product 'warrenty' is created for that product.
Clicking the smart button on 'Warranty' displays the warranty record.
Here is the form view of 'Warranty'.
All the warranty record is display inside 'Product Warranty' menu.
All the warrenty record is also display inside 'Warranty' tab of Product.
On warranty record two button is visible 'Renew Warranty' and 'Claim Warranty'.
By clicking on 'Renew Warranty', can set the 'Warrenty Period' and 'Renew Cost'.
By clicking on 'Claim Warranty', need to specify reason to claim.
After creation claim record , You can 'Accept' or 'Claim Refuse'.
After accept the claim , can create Sale Order and without adding parts it won't allow you to create sale order.
By clicking on 'Done' button of claim record, state of claim record is 'Done'.
By clicking on 'Claim Refuse' button of claim record, you can refuse the claim.
You can get the pdf for claim report, for specific state.
Here is the claim report.
You can get the Warranty report, for specific state.
You can also set 'Warranty Expire Notification' on Warranty Mnagement > Configuration > Warrenty to notify about warrenty expiration.
'Warranty' is auto Expire when reach on 'End Date'.
