  • How It Works

    • Navigate to Settings → Apps Installer (Ensure you have Administrator Access Rights)

    Click on the 'Import Module' button to open the wizard. In the wizard, you'll see multiple fields. Click the 'Upload File' button to select your module or app files, then simply click 'Install'—and you're done!

    Here, you can see my custom add-on path, and I currently have just one custom module/app. Let’s install a module from the ZIP file and see what happens!

    Let's proceed with installing the custom module available in the download directory and observe the results..

    Now, from the backend, you can see that the module has been installed in the custom module path of my Odoo environment, where all my custom modules are available.

    You can now see that the ZIP-installed module has been automatically added to my custom Odoo directory.

    You can also see that the app has been installed and is now visible in the Odoo Apps section. Everything is managed with just a single click
