Profit Guardian is your safety net. It automatically detects when a sales representative offers a discount that is too high or sells with a margin that is too low. Instead of blocking the sale blindly, it creates a smart Manager Approval Workflow.
1. Easy Configuration
Access the new "Margin & Discount Rules" menu directly under Configuration. No need for Odoo Studio or complex Python code. It's built for business managers.
2. Define Granular Rules
Set rules for specific Users (e.g., Junior Sales) or entire Teams. Trigger the safety net based on Minimum Margin % or Maximum Discount %.
Example: If "Joel Willis" tries to give more than 10% discount, request Manager Approval.
3. The "Safety Net" in Action
When a rule is violated, the "Confirm" button is replaced by "Request Approval". The status changes to Waiting Approval. Managers see a clear banner and an exclusive "Approve Margin Exception" button.
