Lock Date Year
This module enforces data accuracy by restricting record creation and updates based on lock dates and editable fields configured at the company level.If a user attempts to designate a date beyond this set closing date, a warning prompt appears. The adaptability to tailor this closing date ensures precision, guaranteeing compliance with specified date constraints for these essential documents while reducing potential errors.

Record Creation Validation
During record creation, the system checks the compare field's value against the lock date.
If the value is earlier than the lock date, a custom warning message is displayed, and the record is not created. If the value is later than the lock date, the record is successfully created.
- Go to General Settings -> Compamies -> Select Current Company -> Year Closing Dates
- These settings dynamically control the validation rules for the selected model.
- When creating a new record, the system checks the selected compare field's value against the configured lock date.
- If the date is earlier than the lock date, the record creation is restricted with a warning message.
- Update only allowed fields for records created before the lock date, as per the editable fields defined in the configuration.
- Non-editable field modifications trigger a warning and are restricted.
