Tools & Equipment Request Management Portal
We developed this addon to manage the details of tools requests, tools issues, tools approvals and tools returns in portal.
The Tool Management Portal provides a centralized platform to track, manage and control all tools within the organization. It enables users to easily request, issue, return and monitor tools, ensuring proper utilization and accountability.
This portal helps maintain complete visibility of tool availability, condition and usage history. Users can raise tool requests, check approval status and view issued tools in real time. Managers and administrators can oversee tool allocation, track overdue returns and ensure tools are properly maintained.
The module also offers a dedicated portal login, allowing external or internal users (such as technician and store keepers) to securely access the system without entering the full backend.

How Organisations Use This Module
Tool Request Creation
Employees initiate the process by creating a Tool Issue Request from the system.Select required tools or equipment.
Submission for Approval
Once the request is finalized, it is submitted and moved to the “Submitted” stage.Managers or authorized users review the request.
Approval Process
After review, the request is move to the “Approved” stage.Tools are officially assigned to the requester.
Portal-Based Access
Technicians, storekeepers and other users can log in through a separate portal interface, where they can request tools, raise calibration requests and track request and approval status.
Calibration Management
Organizations ensure tools remain accurate and compliant by allowing users to raise calibration requests directly from the portal. Managers can track and approve these requests, maintaining proper maintenance schedules.
Reporting & Monitoring
Managers and administrators can monitor tool availability, issued tools, pending approvals and calibration status.

Displayed the all tools in list view with technician, QR/Barcode etc.
Tool Issue Request
Displayed the requested tools in list view with "New" option.
The form view allows users to create a tool request by selecting tools, setting quantity and entering request details such as date, priority and notes.Once submitted the request its move to pending stage.
Tool Approvals
The storekeeper approve the submitted request.
Displayed the approved and pending state records.
Clicking the 'Approve' button moves the request to the 'Issued' stage.
Tool Issues
Tools are issued to users based on approved requests.

Displayed the all issued tools
Calibration request
The Calibration module displays tools based on their calibration status, such as Due, Overdue and Sent for Calibration.
