Critical Step Enforcement
Steps marked as critical must be completed before the checklist can be marked Done. The completion button is blocked until all critical steps are checked off.
Evidence Attachments
Steps can require an evidence attachment — a photo, scan, or measurement record. The step cannot be marked done without an attachment uploaded.
Step-Level Accountability
Each step records who marked it done and when. The done_by_id and done_date fields provide a full accountability trail.
Completion Metrics
The checklist form shows real-time completion percentage, steps done vs. total, and whether any critical steps remain pending.

From any Odoo record, click Launch SOP Checklist. Select the template, confirm the start date, and a live checklist instance is created immediately.
Work Through the Steps
Team members complete steps on the live checklist — marking done, attaching evidence, adding notes. The system tracks completion and enforces critical step requirements.
