Timesheet Portal Module
Enable portal users to log time spent on project tasks with enhanced access control and employee association.
Overview
The Timesheet Portal module extends Odoo's project management capabilities by allowing portal users to log their time spent on project tasks. This module provides a secure and efficient way for external collaborators to contribute to project tracking while maintaining proper access controls.
Key Features
- Portal user to employee association
- Project access management
- Task-based timesheet entry
- Secure access controls
- Native odoo interface
Setup Guide
1. Project Sharing Configuration
The first step is to share the project with the contact. This action will automatically create a portal user if it doesn't exist yet. Projects must be shared in edit mode to allow timesheet entry.

2. Grant Portal Access
If the invited contact is not yet a portal user, you need to grant them portal access. This action will create the portal user account. Navigate to the contact form and use the "Grant Portal Access" action.

3. Employee Association
After the portal user is created, you can associate them with an employee record through the employee form view. This association is necessary to enable timesheet logging.
