Sometimes you have sensitive data and do not want employees to be able to export it. With this app, you can easily restrict which fields users cannot export. This also applies to fields that have been saved in the export template.
Configuration Required
1. Enable 'User Field Export Restriction Management' access right
2. You will see 'User Field Export Restriction' tab
List features:
1. Restrict the export of specific fields.
With this configuration, user 'Mitchell Admin' cannot export 'Total' and 'Customer' field of Sale Order.
Cannot found 'Customer' field (partner_id) in the Available fields.
Cannot found 'Total' field in the Available fields.
2. Restrict the export of all fields
'Export' item does not appear in 'Action' dropdown
3. Restrict the export for update.
You cannot see the option 'I want to update data (import-compatible export)', and cannot found 'External ID' field
4. Restrict the export fields which was saved in export template.
Assume you have an export template like image below, before installing this app.
and 'Total' field is belong to 'Template 1'. Then if you want to restrict user export 'Total' field.
'Total' field does not appear in the list fields that belongs to 'Template 1'
