LinkedIn Social Marketing helps you create, preview, and publish content, and manage your LinkedIn presence inside the Social Marketing app. The module supports interaction notifications so you can respond to comments quickly without leaving Odoo.

Create, preview, and publish LinkedIn content, manage your presence, and handle interaction notifications from the Social Marketing app. Requires viin_social for shared social models and UI.
Prerequisite
Install and configure Social Marketing (viin_social) first. This app extends media, settings, pages, articles, and posts for LinkedIn.
LinkedIn setup
Register a LinkedIn Developer application, configure OAuth redirect URLs for your Odoo base URL, and request the product permissions LinkedIn requires for your publishing and engagement scenario.
Conflict warning
Uninstall Odoo standard Social Marketing if it is installed to avoid conflicting apps and duplicate marketing flows, same guidance as the Viindoo base module.

Usage

1. Connect your system with LinkedIn

To link data between your system and LinkedIn, you need to fulfill the following steps:

  • Connect LinkedIn social networking platform with Social Network Management Software via API: You can refer to the article Integrate API with LinkedIn.
  • Connect specific LinkedIn pages with the system: You can refer to the article Integrate specific pages with the system.

2. Create a new article

After connecting your system to LinkedIn, you will need to create articles that need to be published through the guideline Create an article.

3. Post on LinkedIn from the system

From the created article, you can publish it to multiple LinkedIn pages. You can refer to the following article Post the article.

4. Manage posts from the system

From the Social media marketing tool, you can manage the posted content on LinkedIn including: synchronize LinkedIn posts before connecting to the system, edit or delete posts or interact with comments, etc. Details on Manage post on social media.
