In Odoo, if you search for a product using the keyword "Office Chair Black," Odoo will return products that have the name "Office Chair Black" with the characters in the exact order.
However, if you search for a product using the keyword "Office Black Chair" Odoo will not find the product. This is inconvenient for users.
With this app, it will help to improve the search results for Odoo documents. It will return more results without depending on the order of the characters in the keyword.
Here is the search result for the product using the keyword "Office Black Chair".
1. Provide 3 Options On The Search Bar.
- Default: Search based on the default Odoo criteria.
- OR: The keyword will be split into words by spaces. Any document containing any of the words in the keyword will be considered valid, regardless of the order of the words.
- AND: The keyword will be split into words by spaces. A document will only be considered valid if it contains all the words in the keyword, regardless of the order of the words.
2. These Options Are Applied To All Documents In Odoo.
- This is also a way to help you search for two sale orders at the same time.
- Easy to search for tasks with a few simple keywords.
3. Apply "Search More" Option for Searching on Many2One field.
- By default in Odoo, if you search for a product on the sale order line using the keyword 'black chair', Odoo will not find any product.
