ODOO'S FUNCTION
In Odoo standard, users can merge Request for Quotations (RFQs) from the same vendor into a single document. However, the merge process does not allow merging related Production Orders.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
1. When users merge RFQs from the same Vendor, a pop-up wizard appears.
3. Ensures related Production Orders included.
Merging related production orders helps ensure clear traceability between Purchasing and Production, while automating the process to avoid manual errors.
CONFIGURATION

1. Go to Purchase > Orders > Requests for Quotation (RFQ) > Create a New RFQ > Choose a specified Vendor > Fill the Production Orders related . |
|
|
Go to Products tab > Choose product needed > Save . |
|
|
2. Create another RFQ > Choose the previous Vendor > Fill the Production Orders related . |
|
|
Go to Products tab > Choose product needed > Save . |
|
USAGE |
|
|
1. Go to the List view of RFQ > Choose two RFQ just created > Action button > Click Merge Orders . |
|
|
2. Merge Orders pop-up will appear > Choose Merge Orders option needed > Click Merge Orders button. |
|
|
3. Selected RFQs are merge into a new one and the status of them will become Cancel or Deleted depend on user's choosing action. |
|
|
4. All the related Production Orders are included. |
|
|
5. All products are also included. |
