Install this module to enable the Conversations Dashboard,Facebook Messenger, Instagram Messenger, Whatsapp Messenger system feature for your business.

Configuration

We are integrating the Conversations Dashboard module in Odoo with Facebook Messenger, Instagram Messenger, and WhatsApp. This setup allows your Odoo system to send and receive messages from all three platforms seamlessly.

1. Facebook Messenger Integration
  • Page Access Token: Enter the access token for your Facebook Page. This token allows Odoo to authenticate and send/receive messages via the Facebook Messenger API.
    Example: EAAJ...
  • Webhook Verify Token:Enter a token used to verify webhook communication between Facebook and Odoo. This ensures that the messages received by Odoo are coming from your verified Facebook Page.
    Example: abcd-efgh-ijkl
  • Verify Webhook (Checkbox): Enable this option if you want to verify the webhook automatically with Facebook during setup.
2. Instagram Messenger Integration
  • Instagram Page Access Token: Provide the access token for your Instagram Business Account. This token authenticates Odoo to send and receive Instagram messages.
    Example: IGQVJ...
  • Instagram Webhook Verify Token: Enter the token used to verify webhook communication between Instagram and Odoo.
    Example: abcd-efgh-ijkl
  • Verify Webhook (Checkbox): Enable this to verify the webhook automatically during integration.
WhatsApp Integration:
  • API (Dropdown): Select the API provider for your WhatsApp integration.
    Example: Meta API
  • Meta API Token: Paste your WhatsApp API Access Token. This is required to authenticate your Odoo system with Meta. (Field will remain hidden for security.)
  • Meta Webhook Verify Token: Enter the token used to verify webhook communication between Meta and Odoo.
    Example: 313332
  • Meta Phone Number ID: Enter the Phone Number ID assigned by Meta. This is used to send and receive WhatsApp messages
    Example: 157343627456852
  • Meta WhatsApp Business Account ID: Provide your registered WhatsApp Business Account ID.
    Example: 164654140054408

Workflow

Facebook Messenger
  • A customer sends a message (text, image, or document) via a Facebook Page Messenger.
  • The message is received in Odoo’s Conversations Dashboard in real-time through Meta API integration.
  • Agents can reply directly from Odoo, sending text, images, or documents back to the customer.
  • Odoo allows two-way communication, enabling both sending and receiving messages of all supported types (text, images, documents).
  • All interactions are logged in Odoo for tracking and record-keeping.
Instagram Messenger
  • A customer sends a direct message (text & image) to the connected Instagram account.
  • The message is received in Odoo’s Conversations Dashboard in real-time via Instagram API integration.
  • Agents can reply directly from Odoo, sending text & images back to the customer.
  • Odoo allows two-way communication, supporting both sending and receiving of text, images, and documents.
  • All interactions are logged in Odoo for tracking and maintaining a complete conversation history.
WhatsApp Messenger
  • A customer sends a message (text, image, or document) from their WhatsApp account.
  • The message is received in Odoo’s Conversations Dashboard in real-time.
  • Replies can be sent directly from Odoo, supporting text, images, or documents.
  • Odoo enables two-way communication, allowing both sending and receiving of messages seamlessly.
  • All interactions are logged in Odoo for tracking and maintaining a complete conversation history.
