Open from the Reporting Menu

The Inventory Aging Report sits inside the standard Reporting menu in Inventory, so the team finds it where they already look for stock reports.

Set Aging Date, Period, and Location

Choose the reference date for the aging calculation, set how many days each bucket should span, and pick the warehouses or internal locations you want included. Anything left blank means everything is in scope.

Filter by Category or Products

Drill in on a single product category, including its sub-categories, or hand-pick the exact products you want to track. Useful when you are auditing a specific line, a perishable group, or a high-value range.

View on Screen, Print PDF, or Export Excel

Three buttons at the bottom of the wizard let you open the report on screen, print a formatted PDF, or download an Excel file. Pick the format that fits the moment, a quick check, a board pack, or a working file for finance.

On-Screen List with Aging Buckets

Each row shows a product with its category, warehouse, unit cost, quantity and value broken down by age bucket, and a total at the end. Column totals appear at the bottom so you can read summary numbers without exporting.

Group by Category, Warehouse, or Product

Use the built-in filters and group-by options to slice the result. The "Has Stock" and "Oldest Bucket Has Stock" filters are handy shortcuts when you want to see only items worth acting on.

Pivot Analysis Across Buckets

Switch to the pivot view to compare quantities and values across categories, products, and warehouses. Add or remove measures to focus on the metric that matters for the question you are answering.

Chart View for Stock Age

Open the graph view to see the aging split as a bar or pie chart, helpful for spotting which category or product is sitting longest in stock.

PDF Output Ready to Share

The printed PDF carries the company header, the filters that were applied, all aging columns, and a totals row. Clean and ready to circulate to management or stakeholders.

Excel Output for Deeper Work

The Excel export keeps every column intact: product code, name, category, warehouse, unit cost, each age bucket with quantity and value, and totals. Drop it into a working file when you need to slice further or share with finance.
