Open from the Reporting Menu

Out of Stock Analysis sits inside Inventory, Reporting, next to Stock, Locations, and the standard Moves reports.

Set Period, Horizon, and Filters

Pick the company, warehouses, and internal locations on the left, then choose the From and To dates and the Stock Analysis Horizon in days on the right. Filter by individual products or product categories, pick a Status Filter, and tick Include Zero Sales Products if you want them in the picture.

Three Output Buttons

View Report opens the analysis on screen, Print PDF prints a formatted document, and Export XLSX downloads the spreadsheet.

On-Screen List with Status Badges

Each row shows product code, name, category, warehouse, Current Stock, Outgoing, Incoming, Virtual Stock, Sales Qty, Average Daily Sales, Demanded Qty, OOS Days, DOS, Unit Cost, Value at Risk, Last Sale, Last Purchase, and a coloured Status badge.

Quick Filters and Group By

Ready-made filters jump straight to Out of Stock, At Risk, In Stock, High Value at Risk, Top Sellers, or Negative Stock. Group By organises the same data by Status, Category, Warehouse, or Company.

Pivot Roll-Up by Status

Switch to pivot to compare Current Stock, Virtual Stock, Sales Qty, Demanded Qty, and Stock Value at Risk across Out of Stock, At Risk, and In Stock buckets in one screen.

PDF Out-of-Stock Report

The PDF prints the applied filters at the top, then the full product table with all the analysis columns and a coloured Status badge per row, ready for stakeholder review.

Excel Export with the Same Layout

The Excel file mirrors the on-screen view: every product line with Current Stock, Virtual Stock, Sales Qty, Average Daily Sales, OOS Days, DOS, Unit Cost, Stock Value at Risk, Last Sale, Last Purchase, and Status. Drop it into a working file when finance or planning need to slice further.
