How It
Works
Easy Configuration
Navigate to the configuration settings to independently enable the Split View for List and Kanban views. Activating the option prepares the view for use.
Activation
Once enabled, a new Split View icon appears in the toolbar. Simply click it to switch from the standard list to the split view interface.
Seamless Navigation
Selecting a record in the list immediately opens its details in the right-hand form view. The active record remains highlighted for clear context.
Flexible Layout
Fully customize your workspace by resizing the split pane. You can also quickly collapse the form view to maximize the list and reopen it with a single click.
Instant Synchronization
Experience real-time updates: any changes made in the form view, such as updating a salesperson, are instantly reflected in the list view without reloading.
Quick Creation
Add new records efficiently. Clicking the 'New' button opens a blank form in the split panel, allowing for rapid data entry.
Universal Support
The Split View functionality is universal and works seamlessly across various Odoo models, such as Products and Invoices.
Kanban Integration
Enable the Kanban Split View in settings. A dedicated icon allows you to switch to the split layout, displaying cards and forms side-by-side.
