Product Bundle Pack
The Product Bundle Pack module provides a comprehensive solution for grouping multiple products into a single sellable unit. Unlike standard Odoo, which handles products individually, this module allows businesses to create custom bundles, kits, and combo packs with ease. This ensures that sales, deliveries, and stock tracking accurately reflect the true underlying components, offering precise inventory visibility and tighter control over bundled sales.
Beyond basic bundling, the module features a comprehensive Bundle Pack Configuration, empowering users to easily set up bundle lines, define custom quantities, and calculate bundle prices dynamically based on component costs. Activate Product Bundle Module
Go to the Odoo Apps dashboard, find the 'Product Bundle Pack' module, and click on Activate.
Dedicated Product Packs Menu
Manage all your bundles efficiently from the dedicated 'Product Packs' menu in the Sales app.
Bundle Pack Filter
Easily filter and separate your bundle products from regular products using the built-in 'Bundle Packs' filter.
Bundle Product Configuration
To create a pack, check the 'Is Product Pack' and 'Calculate Pack Price' checkboxes in the General Information tab.
Add Pack Products
Under the 'Pack Products' tab, add the individual component products that make up your bundle and specify their quantities.
Standard Sales Quotation
If the bundle setting is disabled, the bundle behaves like a single standard product on the sales quotation.
Enable Bundle Setting in Sales
Go to Sales > Configuration > Settings and enable the 'Product Bundle Pack' feature to activate advanced bundle actions.
Bundle Action Buttons
Once enabled, you will see 'Add Bundle' and 'Add Exploded Bundle' buttons in the order lines.
Add Bundle Wizard
Click 'Add Bundle' to open a wizard where you can select the bundle, set the quantity, and review the components.
Sales Order Confirmation
Confirm the Sales Order. The bundle is sold as a single product, and a delivery order is generated.
Delivery Order Expansion
In the Delivery Order, the single bundle product automatically expands into its individual component products for picking.
Add Exploded Bundle
Alternatively, use the 'Add Exploded Bundle' button to add all bundle components as separate line items directly to the quotation.
Exploded Bundle Wizard
Select the bundle in the wizard, and it will load all the components that will be added to the order lines.
Exploded Sales Order Lines
The bundle is now 'exploded', meaning the components are listed individually with their own prices and quantities.
Delivery for Exploded Bundle
Since the components are individual order lines, the Delivery Order simply reflects those exact component lines.
Enable Bundle Setting in Purchase
Similarly, go to Purchase > Configuration > Settings and enable 'Product Bundle Pack' to use bundles in purchasing.
Purchase Order Bundle Buttons
In a Purchase Request for Quotation, the 'Add Bundle' and 'Add Exploded Bundle' buttons are now available.
Purchase Bundle Wizard
Use the wizard to select a bundle pack (e.g., Office Starter Pack) that you want to purchase from your vendor.
Purchase Order Confirmation
The bundle is added as a single line item on the Purchase Order. Confirm the order to create the receipt.
Warehouse Receipt Expansion
In the incoming Warehouse Receipt, the bundle automatically expands into its component items for proper inventory receiving.
Add Exploded Bundle in Purchase
Use the 'Add Exploded Bundle' button in purchasing to add the bundle's components as individual lines with their respective quantities.
Exploded Purchase Order Lines
The Purchase Order lines now show the individual components instead of the main bundle product.
Receipt for Exploded Bundle
The incoming Warehouse Receipt matches the exploded component lines from the Purchase Order for accurate stock valuation.
Product Bundle Pack Setup Guide
This module enhances Odoo's standard product management by allowing you to group multiple products into a single bundle pack. Once installed, no complex setup is required—just enable the 'Is Bundle Pack' option on any product template and start adding components.
