Odoo Studio Lite For Purchase
The Odoo Studio Lite For Purchase app allows users to easily create and configure custom fields in the purchase process.
Features
Create Different Types of Fields
The Odoo Studio Lite for Purchase app allows users to create a variety of field types directly from the front view. Whether you need basic text input (Char), numerical fields (Integer, Float), Boolean checkboxes, or more complex fields like Selection, Many2one, or Many2many, this feature provides the flexibility to adapt to any purchasing workflow.
Set Attributes with Fields
Custom fields can be enhanced with a variety of attributes, such as Read-only, Store, Indexed, Help, and Required. These attributes provide further control over how the fields behave in the user interface and backend.
Set Widget with Field
The app allows users to assign specific widgets to their custom fields, further enhancing user interaction. Options such as Monetary, Many2many_tags, Binary, Radio, and Priority widgets give users the flexibility to present data in the most intuitive and appropriate manner.
Set Specific Location of Fields
With the ability to set the specific location of each custom field, users can position fields where they make the most sense within the purchase order view. Whether you want to place a new field after a specific pre-existing field or place it at the bottom of the form, this feature gives users complete control over field placement.

1.) Access Rights for Creating Custom Fields
To create custom fields in the purchase module, users must assign the "Purchase Custom Field" group to the appropriate user.
Navigation : Settings → Users & Companies → User
2.) Create Field Button
Clicking this button opens a popup form where users can fill in the details of the new field, such as the field name, type, and attributes. It simplifies the process of adding custom fields directly from the front view.
Navigation : Products → Request for Quotations
3.) Purchase Custom Field Setup
the user is required to fill in the details for the custom field, including the field name, label, type, position, widget, and additional properties. This customization step allows for fully tailored fields in the purchase process.
Navigation : Products → Request for Quotations
4.) Purchase Custom Field Created
The newly created field, named "Test," is shown here, placed in the designated position (after the "Source Document" field).
Navigation : Products → Request for Quotations
5.) Field Types Configuration
Users can define different types of fields, such as Char, Integer, Float, and many others, ensuring that the right data is collected in the most appropriate format.
Navigation : Products → Request for Quotations
6.) Assign Relation Model
For creating a Many2many type field, users need to assign a relation model that links the custom field to another model, such as suppliers or products, ensuring better data management and connection across entities.
7.) Set Widget for Many2many Fields
users can assign a widget (e.g., Many2many_tags) to a Many2many field, enhancing the user interface and functionality of the custom field.
8.) Final Purchase Custom Field with Widget
Here, the Many2many type field is created with the Many2many_tags widget, providing an intuitive interface for users to select multiple values within a purchase order.
