1.) Create Purchase Order from Sale Order
open sale order and click on the "CREATE PURCHASE ORDER" button to create a purchase order from the sale order.
Navigation : Sales → Orders → Quotations/Orders
2.) Modify Purchase Order Details
users can modify key details of the generated purchase order, such as the quantity, cost price, and vendor. The flexibility to adjust these details ensures that the purchase order matches the specific needs of the sale order.
3.) Smart Button for Purchase Order Reference
The "Smart Button" in the sale order interface provides easy access to the related purchase order, enabling quick tracking and management of both orders from one location.
4.) Request for Quotation Linked to Sale Order
The purchase order is created through a request for quotation (RFQ) that is directly linked to the sale order, ensuring seamless communication between sales and procurement teams.
5.) Sale Order in Canceled State
When a sale order is canceled, the corresponding purchase order status is automatically updated to reflect this change. The linked purchase order is also automatically canceled to maintain consistency.
6.) View Canceled RFQ Linked to Sale Order
f the sale order is canceled, the RFQ referencing the sale order is also marked as canceled, ensuring that the entire process is consistent and up-to-date.
7.) Delete Sale Order and Linked Purchase Order
When the sale order is deleted, it triggers the deletion of the associated purchase order, ensuring that no residual purchase records remain after an order is canceled.
