POS Close Session from Backend
POS Close Session from Backend allows managers and authorized backend users to close active Point of Sale sessions directly from the backend. It is useful when a cashier forgets to close a session, leaves the POS screen open, or when the business needs to control POS closing from the administration side. The module provides a simple backend close button, opens the standard closing register process, posts the session properly, and automatically alerts the running POS screen that the session has been closed.
Features
Close POS Session from Backend
This feature allows the backend user to close an active POS session directly from the session form view. It helps managers and administrators control open POS sessions without needing to access the cashierâs POS screen manually.
Easy Enable and Disable Setting
The module provides a simple setting under the INKERP section, allowing users to enable or disable backend POS session closing as needed. This gives the business better control over when the feature should be available.
Closing Register with Payment Details
When the backend user clicks the close session button, the standard closing register popup opens with cash, card, and customer account details. Users can review the counted amount, add a closing note, and complete the closing process properly.
Automatic POS Screen Notification
When the session is closed from the backend, the active POS screen receives a clear notification message. This informs the cashier that the session is being closed by another user and automatically reloads the POS screen to prevent further usage.

4.) Closed and Posted POS Session
Once the session is closed, the POS session moves to the Closed & Posted state. The form displays important details such as opening date, closing date, starting balance, and ending balance, helping users review the completed session easily.
5.) POS Screen Closing Notification
The cashierâs POS screen receives a popup message when the backend user closes the session. This message clearly informs the cashier that the session is being closed by another user and the screen will reload automatically.
