Warehouse Costing Management
Managing different warehouse costs and product pricing across multiple locations can be challenging, especially when products have varying landed and service costs. This app solves the problem by enabling warehouse-wise average costing, allowing businesses to easily track and manage costs for products across different warehouses in Odoo.

1) Enable Multiple Stock Locations and Warehouses:
Activate the option to manage multiple stock locations and warehouses.
Navigation : Settings → Users & companies → User
2) Enable Warehouse Average Costing:
Enable the warehouse-wise average costing feature to display warehouse-specific costing in the product form.
Navigation : Settings → Users & companies → User
3) Assign Accounting Features to User:
Assign full accounting features to the responsible user for managing warehouse-wise costing and inventory.
4) Create Multi Warehouse for Average Cost:
Create multiple warehouses to manage average costs for products effectively.
5) Set Product Category for Costing Method:
Set the costing method to "Average Cost (AVCO)" and inventory valuation to "Automated" in the product category.
6) Create a Storable Product:
Create a product and ensure it is marked as storable to enable warehouse-wise costing management.
7) Warehouse-wise Costing Tab in Product:
Within the product form, find the "Warehouse-wise Costing" tab, showing the cost for each warehouse.
8) Purchase Product for Different Warehouses:
Purchase products for different warehouses (e.g., 20 units for My Company warehouse and 10 units for Your Company warehouse). Warehouse can be selected in the RFQ order lines.
9) Warehouse-wise On-Hand Quantity and Cost:
View the on-hand quantity and cost for each warehouse in the warehouse-wise costing tab.
10) Add Landed Cost to Purchased Product:
Add a landed cost for the last purchased product.
11) Cost Price Update After Landed Cost:
See the updated cost price after adding the landed cost to the product.
12) Create Sale Order for Product:
Create a sale order for the product and select the warehouse in the sale order.
13) Select Warehouse in Sale Order:
Select the warehouse in the sale order form.
14) Create Invoice for Sale Order and Check Journal Entries:
Generate an invoice for the sale order and review the associated journal entries.
15) Journal Entries After Delivery:
Check the journal entries after the product delivery is completed.
16) Product Costing Table Before and After Sales Order:
View the product costing table before the new purchase order and after the sales order picking is done.
17) Create Purchase Order for Same Product with Different Price:
Create a new purchase order for the same product but at a different price, and select the warehouse in the PO line.
18) Update Cost Price After Incoming Order:
After the incoming order is completed, the cost price and on-hand quantity are updated in the productâs costing tab.

Select the date and warehouse to check the inventory valuation for a specific period.

Select the warehouse in the product revaluation wizard for accurate adjustments.

After making a manual valuation adjustment, the total value of the inventory will change accordingly.
27) Product Cost From Warehouse Cost Tab During Adjustment:
In the product form view, the on-hand quantity and average cost are updated during stock adjustments.

Perform stock adjustments in your companyâs warehouse and adjust inventory values accordingly.
