Housekeeping supervisor can generate laundry requests choosing the room (reservation number) and select various clothing that requires laundry services. Hoteliers can issue laundry request for regular linen cleaning of all rooms. Laundry requests of guests automatically gets attached to hotel reservations and further processed for invoicing.

Manage Restaurant with floor setup, food categories, KOT and BOT

For those companies who doesn't opt for PoS module, Hotel management offers the functionality of creating restaurant with floor setup - table setup, food categories, specific bar and kitchens, etc. Capturing customer data with payment information are all integrated in the restaurant module of hotel management.

Place orders in restaurant and attach reservations for the restaurant orders

Orders placed through restaurant feature will be automatically integrated with hotel reservations - Every restaurant order can be attached with hotel reservation number which will add the restaurant order in Folio that can be further processed automatically during invoicing

Configure Agents who helps boost business and define the percentage of commission for every agent

Define/configure agents in hotel management and assign commission percentages for these agents to boost marketing and sales

Autocalculation of commissions for agents based on the bookings generated

During reservations Hotel management app enables hoteliers to record the agent through which the reservation is bought in. Once reservation is processed, system auto calculates the commission and processes an invoice to create a libality for the agent.

Auto created House keeping tasks after every check out transaction

Hotel management app provides the functionality of auto created housekeeping requests to be allocated and processed by internal staff. After a successful check out by a customer system automatically creates housekeeping tasks. These tasks have to be mandatorily performed before a room becomes eligible for check-in. Time taken to tidy the room, utilities used, details of the operators, are all captured as part of KPA's in the housekeeping activities

Create and Manage Banquet halls with accomodation capacity

Hotel Management app provides an unique feature for banquet hall owners to create and configure one or more banquet halls and manage the operations. Banquet halls can be configured with specific seating capacity, deposits required to process bookings with food and other amenities

Manage bookings of Banquet halls with deposit functionality

Reservations of banquet halls with multiple stages can be made capturing the required details of period of usage, food, amenities and further the same will be processed for invoicing.

Hotel Management app provides variety of reports to enable hotelliers to take informed decisions with less efforts

Apart from centralized Hotel Dashboard module, hotel management app also provides various reports in PDF and MS Excel formats. Reports of reservations, occupancy, booking history are few to list out.

Installation

To install the app, you need to install Flutter on your system by following the instructions at flutter.dev.

Next, extract the downloaded zip file containing the EPMS app source code to a desired location on your computer. Open a terminal, navigate to the extracted folder, and connect your mobile device or start an emulator.

Finally, run the following command to install and launch the app on your device:

flutter run

The app will be built and deployed automatically to your connected device or emulator.

Configuration

To connect the EPMS app to Odoo backend, follow these steps to obtain and configure the required values:

Retrieve Odoo API Key

Log in to your Odoo account on the web browser.
Click on your user icon (top right) and select My Profile or My Preferences.



Find the Add API Key section and generate a new API key.

Fill the API name and password, then copy the generated API key and keep it secure.


Find Odoo User UID

In Odoo, go to Settings > Users & Companies > Users.
Click your user name to open the details.
The UID/User ID is the integer value in the browser address bar at the end of the user URL (e.g., /odoo/users/7 means UID is 7).


Get Odoo URL and Database Name

In Odoo, go to Settings > Database Structure > Databases (or ask your admin).
Note down the database name exactly as shown (case-sensitive).
Use the main part of your Odoo web address, e.g., https://mycompany.odoo.com or your self-hosted instance URL.


Enter Values into the App globals.dart File

Path: project/lib/configuration/globals.dart

The app will now use these settings to connect to your Odoo backend.

Workflow

1. LOGIN

Open the app on your device. Enter your registered Email and Password and tap the Login button. If the credentials are correct, you will be redirected to the Tasks List screen where you can view all tasks assigned to you.

2. SIGN UP

If you are a new user, tap on Sign Up or Create Account on the login screen. Fill in your Name, Email, Phone Number and Password, then tap Sign Up to complete registration. After successful registration, you will be redirected to the Tasks List screen.

3. HOME SCREEN – TASKS LIST

After login, you will land on the Tasks List screen. The app bar displays the title "Tasks List" along with a drawer menu icon. At the top, you will find a Search field and a Filter button. The main section displays a list of tasks assigned to the logged-in user.

Each task card shows task name, project name, status, priority, progress percentage, deadline, and assigned users. The task list is scrollable and supports pull-to-refresh to load the latest data from the server.

The drawer menu provides access to user profile information, company name and phone number, Change Password option, Employee Performance dashboard, Active Sessions, and Logout.

4. FILTERING TASKS

Tap the Filter button on the Tasks List screen to open the filter panel. The panel contains tabs for Status, Priority, Projects, Tags, and Users (Managers only).

You can select multiple Status options, choose one Priority level, search and select a specific Project, search and select one or multiple Tags, and Managers can filter tasks by Users to view specific employee tasks.

Tap Apply to apply the selected filters or Clear to remove all filters and display all tasks again.

5. VIEWING TASK DETAILS

Tap on any task card to open the Task Details screen. This screen displays complete information including task name, project, stage, status, priority, assigned users, creation date, deadline, progress percentage, consumed hours, allocated hours, full description, attachments, and timesheet entries.

Employees can mark the task as Done. Managers can change the task status to Approved or Need Improvement. Any status change requires a remark. Tap the refresh icon to reload the latest task information.

6. UPLOADING AND VIEWING ATTACHMENTS

Inside the Task Details screen, scroll to the Attachments section and tap Add Image to select an image from your device gallery. The image will be uploaded and automatically attached to the task.

Images are displayed in a grid layout. Tap an image to open full-screen view with zoom and pan. Non-image files can also be tapped to view file details.

7. UPDATING TASK PROGRESS

Open the Task Details screen and scroll to the Progress & Hours section. Tap Update Task to modify progress, status, or hours, then save the changes. The screen refreshes automatically to show updated data.

8. VIEWING TIMESHEETS

If a task has timesheet entries, tap the View Timesheets button to open the Timesheet List screen. You can view details such as date, hours worked, and description for each entry.

9. CHANGING PASSWORD

Open the drawer menu and tap Change Password. Enter your current password, new password, and confirm the new password, then submit to update your password in the Odoo backend.

10. EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE DASHBOARD

From the drawer menu, tap Employee Performance. The dashboard provides an overview of team performance with charts and summary metrics. You can filter performance data by time range, project, and task status or stage.

Managers can view team performance and access detailed task breakdowns, while employees can track their own productivity and completed tasks.

11. ACTIVE SESSIONS AND DEVICE MANAGEMENT

From the drawer menu, tap Active Sessions to see devices where your account is logged in. Each session displays device name, platform, login date, and last active time.

You can terminate a specific device session or log out all other devices except the current one for security purposes.

12. ADDITIONAL FEATURES

The app supports pull-to-refresh to sync the latest tasks, automatic dark mode based on system settings, real-time synchronization with the Odoo backend, and strict data privacy where users can only view tasks assigned to them. Loading indicators and error messages further enhance the user experience.
