Configuration
Company Settings
Navigate to Settings → General Settings → Companies and open your company form.
- Go to the Email CC/BCC Configuration tab
- Check Enable CC/BCC to activate the feature
- Enter default CC email addresses (comma-separated for multiple)
- Enter default BCC email addresses (comma-separated for multiple)
- Optionally set a default Reply-To address
- Save the configuration
📌 Configuration Tips
Format: Use comma-separated emails: email1@example.com, email2@example.com
Defaults: These values auto-populate in the composer but can be overridden per email
Reply-To: Useful for directing responses to specific departments (e.g., support@company.com)
How to Use
Composing an Email with CC/BCC
- Open any email composer in Odoo (from Contacts, Invoices, Sales Orders, etc.)
- Fill in the primary recipient(s) as usual
- Find the CC field below the recipients
- Enter email addresses for Carbon Copy recipients
- Use the BCC field for Blind Carbon Copy recipients
- Optionally customize the Reply-To address
- Compose your message and send
