Managing projects and tasks efficiently in Odoo can be time-consuming due to repetitive manual configurations: re-creating task stages for each project, tracking project progress, and controlling timesheet entries.   • Allows setting a default stage for new projects in the stage view, automatically applying it when a new project is created.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

Task Stages - Default for New Project

On stage for view, you can set the stage as Default for New Projects.

So when you create a new project, it will automatically create the stage that you chose as default for new project.


Task Stages - Default for Project Opportunities

You also have an option to set the stage as Default for Project Opportunities.

- Create a Project

- On Project form view, you have the "Opportunities" checkbox on the "Settings" tab.

- Check the checkbox

- The stage that we chose as default for new project opportunities will automatically be created.

- If you check the "Opportunities" checkbox when editing an existing project, you have to click on "Modify Default Stage", then save, for it to take effect


Cancel Task Button

This is the button to move your task to stage      " Cancel" immediately without any manual click and drag manipulations.
Create a new stage named " Cancel ", then check " Stage cancel".





Update Task Button

Cluedoo also provides Update Task button



Final Customer

We have Final Customer check box on customer form view, Sales & Purchase tab to mark if this partner is final customer


Project Workflow

Go to Project - the project will show the status same as in the task

You can also search by Stage.


Timesheet Restriction

On Project, Configuration,
we have additional menu
"Task Stages". On the stage,
we have checkbox "Block Timesheet
Modification".

When a user create or modify a
timesheet on the task where the
project is in state "Done", there will be a restriction
